[Des Waltz]

I'm kind of split on what to give this. As just a song or a DnB song, it's pretty good. But as a waltz, it's bad. If I had heard this without knowing the title, I would have never known it was supposed to be a waltz. Still a good song, though.

For me, this was a little too trance-y. It came off as repetitive, and there wasn't ever as strong a melody as I would have liked there to have been. Still, you set the tone well, your shifts between time signatures was good -- and I did like the variation -- and you started it off well.

Thank you for the review(s). I'm totally agree with you sir it sounds so similar to electro music. I just followed 'orders' since I am new to composition. There were a few raged arguments on our mIRC's chatroom about whether we should have stick to the traditional orchestra or not. I guessed he likes experimental music.

Anyway, I think we should go back and remake another better version. Thank you for the input(s) again.

Nice drumbeat

But I didn't like the synth. I would have preferred something a little more, I don't know, definitive. The pitch didn't really come across well. It sounded like the synthesizer was sick.

FL Studio is, by the way, an awesome program. I've been using it for a few months now. Just play around with the different synths and find stuff you like.

Well this is the first song I did using FL Studio, so not everything is not perfect. I am starting to get used to it, yet I am still learning new things about it.

It needs a melody

There's nothing wrong with what you have so far; it's just that, without anything for the listener to latch on to, it's a little dull. I get that it started out as trance, but even a trance song should have something melodic on top. Otherwise it sounds great. Maybe you have too many effects, but it's hard for me to judge.

And I have to wonder what the story is. When you wrote this, did you have any specific story in mind? As in, were you writing this song to tell a story that you already had written? Or did the story develop as you went along?

Anyway, great job.
